With a fully automated face and iris scan process supported by real-time feedback, InSight One captures high quality dual iris and face images in about 2 seconds at a standoff distance of 0.5 to 1.0 meters, creating an experience that is both appealing to users and well-suited to a wide variety of applications.

The Tascent Mobile biometrics platform combines the world’s leading smartphone devices with advanced multimodal biometrics to deliver a breakthrough mobile biometric capability finely tuned to the needs of end users in travel, border management, humanitarian aid, law enforcement and civil ID.

Tascent M6 represents a new class of mobile biometric solutions not only because of form factor, ease-of-use, superior biometric capability, and smartphone integration, but also because it is designed from the ground up with an open architecture approach in mind. This is manifested in standards-compliant biometric image capture, formatting, and transmission, as well as the versatile and feature-rich Tascent Mobile SDK.

M6, is based on the Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s and provides highly intuitive, standards compliant iris, face, fingerprint, and voice biometric capability in a compact, “pocketable” form factor. Made for iPhone, it works seamlessly with the Tascent Mobile biometric app for iOS to deliver an integrated and intuitive single-device experience.

Integrated MRZ (Machine-Readable Zone) software allows for fast, accurate collection of biographic information from ICAO-compliant travel documents including passports, travel visas, and national ID cards.

Intuitive, High-Performance Biometric Capture

A combination of active feedback from the Tascent Mobile App and integrated OLED display on MX provides an intuitive guide for face, iris, and fingerprint capture for both the operator and subject. This results in high-quality biometric imaging with very minimal training.

    Integrated functionality for reading ICAO-compliant MRZ (machine-readable zone) and ISO 14443 contactless (NFC) from passports, visas, national ID cards, and other travel documents.

  • On-board multimodal matching

    The Tascent Mobile App can synchronize seamlessly with standards-based tools offered by Tascent and offers matching for up to 100,000 records using 3rd party-validated algorithms.

  • Enhanced document authentication

    Support for ISO 7816  secure access module (SAM) card reading and a built-in UV illumination provide additional security checks for document authentication.
